Extensive Green Roofs
Extensive green roof gardens are not usually for recreational use and are constructed using low maintenance planting such as sedums or indigenous herbs and grasses. Extensive green roofs tend to be lightweight roofing systems with minimal structural implications; they encourage biodiversity and are particularly suitable for inaccessible, flat or sloping roofs.
