10 Station Road, Cambridge

10 Station Road is a new innovative, sustainable office block based in the heart of CB1, boasting five floors of highly specified commercial space spread over 50,000 sqft, with each office easily adapted to fit the individual needs of the future occupiers. In addition to the office space, there is basement parking for 39 vehicles, incorporating 10 EV charging bays, and benefits from 193 dedicated cycle storage spaces at the rear of the building to promote healthy living for the tenants.

Constructed by R G Carter, they collaboratively designed the external façade to make sure the scale and materials complimented the existing architecture of historic Cambridge.

The glazing was strategically placed around the building and during the design it was decided to use solar gain glass, as this helps regulate the heat of the office building by reducing solar glare, while maximising daylight within, providing a healthy and stimulating environment for future tenants well being.
The 4th floor is set back and provides a viewing terrace to all 4 sides of the building. The services on the roof are ringed by a biodeverse roof and photo-voltaic panels.
