Cultural Centre, Southend Pier

Cultural Centre, Southend Pier in Southend-on-Sea was constructed off site at Tilbury Docks, Essex, transported by barge along the Thames to the Pier and craned into position with one barge crane.

It was glazed on site and the installers had to catch the visitors train at 07:30 hrs in the morning or walk the 1.3 mile to the site along the 100 year old pier.
