DARTeC – The Digital Aviation Research and Technology Centre

We are delighted to have been apart of the new Digital Aviation and Research Technology Centre (DARTeC) building at Cranfield University. This world-leading facility provides a central building that contains a suite of digital aviation research laboratories and a unique ‘hangar laboratory’ which will be connected to Cranfield’s 737-400 aircraft through an airport-style air bridge.

Its futuristic design creates a stunning addition to the Cranfield skyline and was constructed with almost 300 tonnes of structural steel!

Drayton Windows designed, supplied & installed Kawneer AA100 Curtain Walling, AA720 Windows & Doors & AA190TB Double Doors with automation together with ANALOK545 Bronze Anodised finish 504mm projecting Brise Soleil Fins.
