Dyson STEAM Building

From the design, supply and installation of Kawneer AA100 Curtain Wall, AA720 & 190TB Doors and 1.5 Nordic perforated zinc panels, Drayton Windows are really proud to have been a part of the Dyson STEAM Building at Gresham’s School.

A new centre for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics, its two-storey exposed steel frame was clad with a mixture of large glass panels and perforated oxidised copper panels to create a striking unique façade. Some panels were set back to accommodate landscaped open teaching areas.

Via the James Dyson Foundation, Sir James Dyson’s charitable arm established to inspire the next generation of engineers, his generous donation for the centre will have an immense impact on the quality of STEAM education at the school now and for decades to come.
