
Haileybury School
The new state-of-the-art SciTech Centre at Haileybury School in Hertfordshire was officially opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony and a plaque unveiling in March 2024. The event included experiments conducted by students and guiding tours, showcasing the facilities capabilities.
The SciTech building was constructed by Kier, with windows and curtain walling designed, fabricated and installed by Drayton Windows, that included Schüco Tiptronic windows, together with integrated blinds within the curtain wall system. This intelligent control system saves energy, provides sunshade
and glare protection, offering the highest level of comfort and maximum benefits to improve the pupil’s wellbeing whilst learning in this new fantastic educational facility.
This modern facility signifies a major advancement in science and technology education featuring innovative laboratories for natural sciences, computer science, robotics, VR, AI and design technology.
Pupils have already attended lessons in their new learning spaces and enjoying all the new facilities available to them.
