Swallowtail Place,

Swallowtail Place is an independent living scheme in Acle, which comprises of one and two bedroom fully contained apartments, available exclusively to those over 55. Built for Saffron Housing Trust Limited it offers apartments to either rent or buy on a shared ownership basis and offers on-site care and support 24/7, giving residents and their families peace of mind that support is close to hand if needed.

The scheme also offers a range of private and public facilities, with the inclusion of spacious communal spaces such as a lounge, activity room, bistro space, hair salon and a large garden, it means that residents will remain as active as possible in the community.

Swallowtail Place has won Excellence in Collaboration, at the Norfolk Constructing Excellence Awards, as well as the top Secured by Design (SBD) Gold accreditation, demonstrating its commitment to improving the security of buildings and their immediate surroundings. It is the first SBD Gold award in Norfolk to be issued in the last five years by the Constabulary’s current Designing Out Crime Unit.
