Building Upgrade
Replacing a roof or wall façades in an occupied building is not always possible, either due to economical constraints or logistical reasons. In these situations an oversheeting system can be installed.
This is where the original roof or wall construction stays in place to maintain weather protection and proprietary spacer purlins secured over the top so new external roof sheeting can be installed. The void between the existing roof and new covering can be infilled with insulation to upgrade the roof to comply with Part L2B Building Regulations.
A variety of roof and wall systems are available including Plastisol coated steel and aluminium sheeting. Secret fix systems are also available for low pitch roof applications.
Overcladding can be an ideal cost effective way of improving the aesthetics of a building. New cladding can be installed over existing brickwork or tired, out of date cladding, providing a fresh clean image to any business premises. The new cladding can be profiled, micro-rib or completely flat to create a true architectural finish.
