Reporting to the Office Manager, we are looking to appoint a Contracts Administrator to support a small team. This role is an important position within the contracts department, in line with the growth and development, quality profitability and customer focussed objectives of the business.

The successful candidate will be welcomed into a fast-paced environment, where no two jobs are the same. Excellent administrative and organisational skills are essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Booking in jobs
  • Calendar management
  • Preparation of work for clients, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
  • Liaison with clients via telephone, Team’s calls and email
  • Liaison with internal customers, external suppliers and sub-contractors
  • Update Internal Company reporting systems in an accurate and timely manner
  • Collation of engineers’ weekly paperwork, including job sheets, expenses, time sheets and mileage sheets
  • Making travel arrangements and booking accommodation for colleagues if they are working away

Key Skills & Knowledge

  • A flexible and disciplined approach to tight deadlines and changing priorities would be appropriate in carrying out this varied role, along with the following skills and experience:
  • Previous experience working in an office environment
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good problem-solving skills with analytical thinking
  • Professional attitude representing the company
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential
